THE NEIGHBORHOOD

MAK has a neighborhood association! Our organization is loosely-formed, but generally, we:

​

• Welcome new neighbors to the neighborhood

• Organize meetings to discuss neighborhood events

• Act as representatives and “neighborhood voice” to the city officials and 3rd parties regarding issues affecting our neighborhood

• Sponsor/host neighborhood parties (see Events page)

• Write and distribute newsletters

 

MAK Neighborhood Association is not a Home Owners Association (HOA); there are no dues and we do not govern. We are here to organize social functions for our residents and families to get to know one another and to have networking tools such as our Yahoo Group and Facebook page for announcements, concerns, or needs related to being a MAK resident.
